Costa del Sol
The Costa del Sol in Andalucia is a popular holiday location in the south of Spain with 150 km of Mediterranean coast and is one of the most popular tourist destinations worldwide.

Protected from the northern winds by a mountain chain that in some parts comes down to meet the sea, this sheltered coast is shaped by a succession of extensive beaches, coves almost hidden between cliffs, marinas and anchorage for fishing. The proximity of such different landscapes – the mountains, the valleys blanketed in vegetable gardens and the sea- is one of the greatest attractions of this coastline which combine all the appeal of the Mediterranean landscape and culture.
The western Costa del Sol is the most developed part of the coast in terms of both property and infrastructure and it attracts an important percentage of Spain’s international tourism. Communications revolve around Malaga International Airport (8 km west of the city) and the N340 backbone coast highway. In the middle of the Costa the greatly improved district road from San Pedro de Alcantara inland to the historic town of Ronda is the most important inland connection.
Summer beach holidays and all the appeal that this can offer along this stretch of the Mediterranean is not, however, the only attractions offered by the Costa del Sol: you will have the chance to uncover the most genuine, authentic features of the Andalusian culture very close by.
There are around 70 Costa del Sol golf courses on the “Costa del Golf” which can be played all year round as well as a whole range of other activities available such as sailing, scuba diving, horse riding, dolphin safaris, etc. If you like going to Costa del Sol on a holiday, book your holiday rental on Costa del Sol directly from the owner.
