Costa Blanca
The Mediterranean Costa Blanca around Alicante is a great favorite with British holidaymakers. More than 200 km of coastline are dotted with cliffs, beaches and secluded coves. The mild climate is one of the attractions for tourists, allowing water sports to be practiced almost all year round. It is a good place to go in the winter time too, with a large amount of sunny days in the area.

The Costa Blanca used to consist of a group of small fishing villages that have become popular tourist resorts due to the fantastic climate and beaches. There is a good variety of holiday villas on Costa Blanca to choose from in order to make a happy and comfortable stay during your holiday.
Apart from holidaymakers, there are many British, German and Scandinavian families living in the Costa Blanca looking for a better (and sunnier) lifestyle.
The south of Costa Blanca is not as mountainous as the north of the Coast, but it has beautiful beaches, palm trees and salt lakes. The mountains in northern Costa Blanca are attractive for walking holidays and there is a good mix of pebble and fine sandy beaches.
There are many attractions alongside the Costa Blanca, some of them especially for tourists like the entertainment park Terra Mitica at Benidorm or the bays of Altea and Calpe. Other attractions include the smaller towns and villages like Villajoyosa just south of Benidorm, famous for its old town.
Along the Costa Blanca there is a wide range of golf courses ideal for golf holidays in Spain with great services and facilities. You can play golf in the most popular golf courses as Campoamor, Villamartin, La Marquesa, La Sella, Las Ramblas and many others.
