Balearic Islands
The Balearic Islands is a group of islands in the Mediterranean ideal for holidaymakers. Mallorca is the largest one and for many years it has been the meeting point for thousands of tourists from the North of Europe looking for sun, good beaches and parties.

Mallorca in all has 555 km of coastline and around 80 fine beaches, many with ‘Blue Flag’ status, enjoys a wonderful Mediterranean climate with an average 7 hours sunshine per day throughout the year. The official languages of Mallorca are Catalan and Spanish.
The Balearic Islands are the Spanish paradise for holidays. They are well connected by plane and boat. The Balearics are perfectly suitable for families, elderly and for groups of friends. Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic Islands. It is probably best known for its relaxing golden beach holidays along its various rugged coast line, rocky coves and inlets. It is an ideal family holiday destination.
The capital of Menorca is Mahon and is also the location of the island’s airport. Mahon boasts one of Europe’s largest and natural harbours. It has an attractive mixture of colonial and local architecture which is built on a hill overlooking the port.
Ibiza is the third largest Balearic Island and is best known as the “Party Island”. Although Ibiza lives up to the reputation of all night parties there is also a lot more to this Island. Ibiza offers a lot of tourist attractions and many golden beaches so you can escape and just relax.
Formentera is the fourth largest Balearic Island, this smaller Island offers some of the best and un-spoilt beaches the Balearic Islands has to offer. It is 19 kilometres long and is located approximately 3 nautical miles south of Ibiza in the Mediterranean Sea. The island can only be reached by ship, so relatively few tourists come to this location, making it a much quieter place than the other islands in the region. It is best known for the fact that nude sunbathing is allowed on most of its beaches.
